Missing Kansas Student Aisha Khan: The college student, who disappeared Friday later reportedly being harassed by a drunken man, has been found safety. Police force tell she was ne’er abducted. The seek for Aisha Khan, nineteen, who was final seen on the University of Kansas Edwards campus Friday, involved many law enforcement agencies.
On Tuesday, her parents offered a $10,000 reward for reports about her whereabouts. But now officials trust Khan – with whom they reportedly spoke on Wednesday – was ne’er the victim of a kidnapping.
Where she was for 5 days continues a mystery, however, as police force are thus far not releasing details. Khan left a frightened voicemail for her sister Friday, telling she’d gotten into an altercation with a man on the campus where she’d been studying when he tried to kiss her.
When Khan’s sister arrived to pick her up, she found her sister’s bookbag and cell phone abandoned. Family friend Aamer Trambu said the Associated Press he could not answer questions about how Khan was found, but told “the fact is, she’s alert she’s well. We trust our prayers have been answered.”
